Wintering
When Leta realized that it was snowing this morning she couldn't wait to get dressed and put on her new gloves and scarf. Jon was the one taking her to school this morning, and as Leta and I sat on the couch waiting for him to finish brushing his teeth she got a little worried.
"What if Daddy takes too long and it stops wintering outside? Can I still wear my scarf?"
Yes, Leta. Both you and Chuck can wear your scarves.

- Marlo has a tooth! So says the blood that she drew when she grabbed my hand and tried to gnaw off my thumb!
- Leta won't eat her birthday cake. I guess we should have made it out of chicken nuggets and iced it with refried beans.
