I originally shared this on Instagram, but I wanted to bring it here because it’s one of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken. Yes, it’s grainy as hell because I took it with my phone, but I didn’t have time to run and grab the big DSLR. I didn’t want to miss capturing this moment, especially for Marlo. Chuck is getting older, and I hope she has fond memories of having him around in her youth, of being exhausted from a long day at camp, crawling up and gently resting her head on his back, of trusting him.
