The Dame and the Former Congressman

I feel like this is one of the better straight up portraits I’ve taken of the two of them together in the last few years. The light in this house is tricky for natural shots especially in winter which is why I’ve been using the flash a lot more. I got this shot from across the room with the 80mm lens when they were both looking in my direction. The light in the kitchen just happened to be prefect at that moment. And so were they. That both events coincided makes it look like I know what I’m doing (I have no idea what I’m doing).
